River Selection

A beautiful free-stone river, wide open with rocky shores and large pools. These waters hold lots of Rainbow Trout and provide lots of easy opportunities for anglers to get strikes. Ideal for beginners  who want to catch fish in a picturesque river. The terrain is rough, so be prepared for a good hike!

A small river that connects to the Nottawasaga river, it holds Rainbow Trout in small pockets towards the upper stretch of the river. There are some opportunities for Brook trout here in early September when they're staging to spawn. The river flows through parts of the Niagra Escarpment allowing anglers to capture some truly stunning views. 

A very tight and compact river, that is completely full of Rainbow Trout. The closest river to Barrie means that it is easily accessible while still providing a proper fly fishing experience. Anglers can expect small consistent pools holding trout ready to feed!
